Short bio:

Gjorgji, originally from Macedonia, but now residing in the U.S., holds the position of Director of Engineering at Snowflake. He moved to the States during his high school years and earned his degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Yale University. 

Before joining Snowflake, he played a pivotal role at Microsoft, leading the development of Intelligent Query Processing technologies in SQL Server and Azure SQL DB. At Snowflake, Gjorgji leads a team of over 150 engineers, spearheading the advancement of Streaming Data Pipelines and Data Lake technologies for the company's Data Cloud. 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Gjorgji cherishes spending quality time with his wife and three young children.
