Vladimir moved to Zurich for his PhD, which he completed at the ETH at the department for chemical and bioengineering. He also holds an MBA in business innovation from the ESMT in Belrin. He was one of the founders and the president of the NGO Global Researchers Association for Science Popularization well-known for the project "Nauka za site". The rationale behind the project was to make science closer to the general Macedonian public, including laymen.

In addition to his professional obligations, Vladimir tries staying active by doing sports (currently member of a CrossFit club), playing the guitar (or ukulele) and hiking in the beautiful Swiss mountains. A big part of his free time is dedicated to the Global Macedonians project, where he is highly motivated to contribute to building the most extensive network of Macedonian students and professors around the world.
